What will you be doing at Atrium?
As the Financial Services Engagement Director, you will be responsible for managing the overall relationship with Atrium’s key FINS accounts. This role spans the entire engagement with the customer, including delivery leadership in pre-sales activities, acting as the delivery expert, and will be a key part of deal teams on large pursuits, ensuring that deals are well-structured to provide value for our customers. The Engagement Director will then maintain key executive relationships and act as an escalation point as necessary in these implementations in a billable capacity, ensuring alignment and overall customer satisfaction in each engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consulting methodologies and experience working with Salesforce, Snowflake, analytics, and data science.
Successful FINS Engagement Directors will leverage prior banking experience or extensive project delivery experience in the banking sector to understand and address client needs. FINS Engagement Directors demonstrate a strong understanding of standard banking processes, regulations, and industry trends. They have a broad range of data strategy and consulting experience, with a deep understanding of the FSC data model and its application in various banking scenarios. They are comfortable operating in a pre-sales environment and can demonstrate a mastery of solutioning in our selected technology ecosystems. The Engagement Director can also demonstrate significant project delivery credibility and provide strong leadership, as well as hands-on engagement, in our most strategic projects and programs. Engagement Directors will have the ability to potentially travel up to 30%.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Account Planning and Growth:
Design and architect comprehensive Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions that address complex business requirements for banking clients
Leverage your prior banking experience or extensive project delivery experience in the banking sector to understand and address client needs
Demonstrate a strong understanding of standard banking processes, regulations, and industry trends
Translate Business Requirements to Technical Solutions: Understand how business needs can be met by leveraging cloud technology solutions, spanning Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau, and AI. This involves being able to discuss high-level architectural approaches and drive solution roadmap conversations
Advise customers on Data & AI-driven concepts to inform approaches on aligning platform investments to business outcomes
Partner with Account Executives to deeply understand customer requirements in FSC, CRM and data strategy and to articulate value-based solutions that drive ROI
Collaborate with the Sales Team on managing Deal cycles, including the development and review of solution proposals, resourcing plans, and SOW creation to support active pursuits
Evaluate client-specific technical landscape and incorporate those delivery expectations and considerations into engagement sizing, approach, and assumptions
Contribute across the sales cycle and participate in client presentations focusing on Atrium's delivery approach and best practices
Delivery Oversight:
Oversee service delivery on key accounts, which will often include multiple parallel, disparate engagements
Drive customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring customer satisfaction
Partner with Engagement Leads to guide the successful delivery of Salesforce and Data projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, timelines, and budgets; ensure risks are kept to a minimum and effectively owned, managed, or resolved
Guide the team in adherence to Atrium's methodology and best practices as well as client-specific delivery standards across the engagement portfolio
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional development
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a program management role, preferably managing accounts in the Fortune 1000
10+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry and/or banking.
Proven track record of leading and delivering multiple successful FSC implementations
3+ years of pre-sales experience, comfortable with solidifying project scope and determining resource and timeline needs with clients
Active Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accreditation
Deep understanding of the FSC data model and its application within the banking sector
Strong understanding of core banking processes, relevant regulations, and industry best practices
Experience managing C-level relationships
Enterprise-level engagement & program management experience in FSC strategy & execution engagements. Experience with data platforms is a plus
Experience in Data Modernization and CRM Implementation concepts
Experience working with engagements and programs with an annual book of business of $1 million or greater
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational skills that allow you to manage complex, multi-threaded engagements and activities
The ability to conduct very complex and vital work with full autonomy and complete latitude for independent judgment
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident team player with a strong focus on customer success who can present effectively even under adverse conditions
Experience leading and being a mentor to multi-disciplined, globally-distributed teams
Strong understanding of fundamental project management skills, including scope management, schedule management, budget management, and risk/issue management
Experience supporting and leading sales activities, including solution definition, resource planning, and SOW development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
BA/BS or equivalent, MBA is a plus
